The Santa Fe Trails Neighborhood is a subdivision consisting of 122 homes in Santa Fe, Texas. The neighborhood is deed restricted and is managed by the Home Owners Association.
We have a monthly meeting every month and all homeowners are welcome to attend so please check calendar for dates set. At the meeting the board reviews previous meeting minutes, goes over HOA business and there will be time for open discussion for anyone who has any issues or something they would like to address so please come out to a meeting; you can not be heard if you do not come out. ((Meetings at the moment are being held at a board members house due to lack of attendance at Fire Station room. If you wish to attend please reach out to a board member so we can make arrangements to have meeting held at Fire Station. Annual meeting will be at Fire Station.))
Also by registering your info on the website you can opt into receiving upcoming meeting reminders and HOA event emails. Meeting reminders come across the Sunday before meetings; there is a calendar you can look at as well but meeting are usually every 2nd Thursday of each month unless otherwise noted.

We are still looking for 3 volunteers to be part of the ARC committee for the HOA. This will be a small committee separate from the HOA board that will go over all HIA's (home improvement forms) and make sure they fall in line with deed restrictions then submit if approved. Please contact CMSI if you would like to be part of this committee.
Improvements - Why an HIA?
Your house up keep is important and any improvements to the outside of your home will need a HIA form to be submitted for approval before work is started. A quick list (for most but not all) on a majority of the HIA forms being submitted is for projects such as painting, fence replacement, storage building, pergolas, window replacement and swimming pools. This also helps to make sure that nothing is done outside the norm of the HOA deed restrictions. Approvals can take up to 30 days from the day they are received as they are presented at the next upcoming board meeting for discussion. If you are in a time crunch on a project feel free to reach out to the management company and let them know we may be able to work with you on a quick return. To get a HIA form copy you can now print one right off the website just click on the HIA FORM tab on the left.

Inspections are done once a month by CMSI. At the time of inspection a violation will be recorded and will be re-inspected during next inspection day to see if violation has been taking care of. If a violation has not been handled in a timely manner it may result in fine. Most common violation is trash cans not being put away and out of site on days you do not have trash pickups. Another common violation is maintaining of lawns and flower beds; make sure your lawn stays mowed and flower beds stay weeded to avoid over growth. But honestly some of violations could have been reported by a fellow neighbor. Calls can come in quite often from a fellow neighbors complaining/reporting on things for example a boat, an inoperable vehicle and over grown lawns. So please be sure to do your part in helping keep the neighborhood looking great!
